Join Susanne for a fun and relaxing weekend of yoga, pranayama, meditation, food and fun at Spring
Ridge in Meaford, Ontario (in the Collingwood area). This lovely home and yoga studio is located on 12
acres of beautiful woods. The 525 square foot studio has a beautiful view of the outdoors and has its
own bathroom and change area.
This weekend will provide you with the opportunity to immerse yourself in the yoga experience. There
will be gentle yoga classes, restorative yoga, savasana, and meditation for those who want to
participate. Reflexology with Anne Vivash will be available at an additional cost of $45 per session (
regular $60) throughout the weekend.
No previous yoga experience needed and all abilities are welcome!
Weekend Schedule:
Friday:
You may arrive anytime after 1 p.m. on Friday. Classes and events are planned to help you immerse
yourself in the yoga experience but are not mandatory. If you would rather read a book or go to bed
early you are free to do so.
3 p.m. to 5 p.m. -Welcome snacks and a light meal provided.
7 p.m. - Gentle Yoga
8:30 p.m. – Restorative Yoga with Yoga Nidra (Savasana)
9:15 – free time to relax, socialize or go to bed.
Saturday:
7:00 am. – Guided Meditation
7:45 a.m. to 9 a.m. – Wake up yoga class
9 to 10:15 a.m. – Breakfast provided
10:30 to 12 – Restorative yoga
12 to 1 pm – Lunch
1 p.m. – 3 p.m. – Kirtan Musical Event
3 to 6 p.m. – Free time to explore the area, go for a walk, hike or just hang out.
6:30 p.m. – Group dinner at a local restaurant (Cost not included in the weekend price).
8:30 p.m. – The Healing Power of Touch. In this seminar, we will explore how touch can benefit our
central nervous system using principles of thai yoga massage, reiki and reflexology. You will give and
receive in this 2 hour practice.

10:30 to 12:30 p.m. Restorative Yoga
Stick around for a bit or head out to do some exploring.

This three day training focuses on teaching the complex student who comes to your class in the various stages of a cancer diagnosis. This course will guide you through the process of therapeutic healing that can be used to assist your students as well as friends and family. You will increase your knowledge about cancer, separate fact from fiction, be provided with solutions to share with students and be giving a practical guide to teaching this special population.
